Taghleef Industries as Finalist for ICIS Innovation Awards 2021

Taghleef Industries is a finalist for the category Best Product Innovation at ICIS Innovation Awards 2021 for its NATIVIA® biobased and compostable solution for frozen fruits, developed in collaboration with Maca Srl and Gimef Srl.

 

NATIVIA® NELD is a PLA-based film, derived from renewable resources, which provides high mechanical strenght, even at low temperatures, high seal strenght, proper hot tack and good printability. It is suitable for organic recycling, being certified as industrially compostable according to EN 13432:2002 standard by the indipendent body DIN CERTCO. Taghleef’s NATIVIA® NELD has received the certification OK biobased by TUV AUSTRIA, with Four Stars.

 

This innovative and sustainable packaging solution is in line with the Circular Economy’s standards and Taghleef Industries’ Dynamic Cycle™ approach.
