Recyclable Monoweb for Soft Cheese Packaging
Challenge: Traditional soft cheese packaging typically uses a PA/PE laminate structure. This multi-material structure can be challenging to recycle due to its complex separation process. Cheese producers are increasingly seeking sustainable packaging solutions that meet consumer demand for eco-friendly products while maintaining product integrity and functionality.
Solution: With Ti’s understanding on the need to meet the brand’s recyclability and barrier needs, we developed a solution to replace the traditional PA/PE laminate with a mono-web PP film as outer flow wrap made from our EXTENDO® high barrier solutions. This film offers several key benefits:
